You became a groomer because you love dogs and because you love the art of it.

But faces still feel like hit or miss….

You've watched every tutorial, practiced on every Poodle-y thing, tinkered with all the folded-eared Shih Tzus, and battled tons of flat swoopy-coated Doodles…

…but your hands don’t match the image of that cute face you have in your head.

And you're left standing there feeling unimpressed with your work, and still have no idea what to do about that mysterious purgatory between the eye and the ear…. And why does the mustache lip hair look so…. Victorian?

After twenty+ years behind the table, I can tell you it’s not a talent thing. It’s a system thing, and nobody’s ever handed you one.

You don't need more tutorials. You need a blueprint.

A repeatable, ridiculously simple way to look at any face and know exactly what to do before you pick up a single thinning shear.

I've got three of them. Find yours below 👇

Just want to see if my blueprint works on your dogs? Perf. This is a cutie little course: one hour, four faces, four totally different coats, same blueprint. You’ll have lifetime access, so watch and rewatch anytime you want!

Meet Your Teacher

Jess Rona

Jess has been grooming for over 20 years and teaching for over a decade; in that time, her signature teaching methods have helped thousands of students worldwide transform their grooming. As one of the industry’s most recognized and respected instructors, she has taught her signature blueprints all over the world, including in Belgium at the Worlds largest grooming competition: Groomania and countless Barkleigh and WPA events.

Over half a million – and growing – followers turn to her daily on Instagram, YouTube and TikTok for advice and guidance. Her passion for sharing her knowledge and making grooming easier for other dog lovers has led her sister to yell at her literally every time they take a trip together to put down her phone and stop answering people’s questions.

Jess’s approachable way of breaking down the grooming process came out of her own struggles, not just as a student who didn't understand when the teachers would explain things in complicated mathematical terms, but also as a new business owner who needed to train her employees to work the way she did so she wouldn't have to groom every dog.

This long journey led to her designing her famous Face and Body Blueprints, and after getting incredible feedback from students at live seminars telling her how life-changing they are, she decided to take these methods online to give access to anybody, anywhere who wanted to learn to groom beautifully and easily. This was how the JRG online programs were born.

"Before taking Jess’s courses, I thought a strict, no-nonsense attitude would be the best route to well-behaved dogs on my table. After years of grooming, I still got frustrated by protest-y pups who wouldn’t respond to constant corrections and rigid practices. After learning Jess’s calm/confident energy techniques and how to work ‘with your dog and not ‘on’ your dog, my furry clients and I are now calmer and more relaxed and finish the groom in an even better mood than we started. Thank you, Jess!'"

"I’ve always had a hard time staying calm and relaxed when working with ‘difficult’ dogs. I knew how to read the dogs’ body language, but I never knew how to properly communicate with them or adjust my own energy to show them they can trust me. Ever since starting this course, I have been able to stabilize my own energy to benefit myself and my cleints. Today I was able to trim one our more aggressive client’s nails without a muzzle or the groomer’s helper. Thank you, Jess Rona!'"
